I’m selling my Nikon Coolscan LS 5000 ED now, because I don’t need it anymore. I’ve completely switched to my LS 9000 ED for the 6×9 medium format, which is also capable of scanning 35mm film if I should need it. I am the first owner and really cared for the scanner.

The scanner is in a perfect condition, the mirror, the rubber rollers as well as the rollers for the film transport have been cleaned just recently.

Designed for use by imaging professionals, the SUPER COOLSCAN 5000 ED offers 135/IX240 film scanning at an amazing 20 seconds per image (including image transfer to display) at 4,000 dpi/ppi true optical resolution. Highly accurate color reproduction and representation of detail are made possible by the 16-bit A/D converter and 16-bit output channel.
